Our Partners
Integral to our mission of fostering diversity, inclusion, and meaningful change within the legal field, we thank our partners for their collaboration and support.
Legal Change is proud to collaborate with an inspiring network of businesses, international organisations, law firms, and specialists who champion innovation and inclusivity.
A&O Shearman, as Legal Change's founding partner and sponsor, has been invaluable to the creation and development of our NGO.
The newly formed A&O Shearman represents a powerful combination of two prestigious law firms, bringing together Allen & Overy and Shearman & Sterling's centuries of collective legal excellence. The firm stands out for its deep commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession.
They demonstrate this through comprehensive initiatives focused on recruiting diverse talent, providing mentorship opportunities, and creating an inclusive workplace culture where all professionals can thrive. A&O Shearman actively works to break down barriers in the legal industry through various programs supporting underrepresented groups, including women, racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people with disabilities. Their dedication to these values extends beyond their own offices through pro bono work and community partnerships that advance equity in the broader legal field.
We are deeply grateful for our partnership with A&O Shearman, as their commitment to excellence and inclusion aligns perfectly with our own values. Their support and collaboration continue to create meaningful opportunities and drive positive change in the legal profession.
Sciences Po, as a partner of Legal Change, has played a pivotal role in our organizational success, particularly through their support in organizing conferences. Leveraging its esteemed academic resources and extensive network, Sciences Po has facilitated high-caliber events that bring together experts from various fields to discuss and advance legal reform issues. Their logistical and intellectual contributions have not only elevated the quality of our conferences but have also broadened our reach and impact within the community.
This partnership underscores Sciences Po's commitment to social justice and legal change, significantly enhancing our capacity to effect meaningful legal and policy transformations.

Google has been a vital partner in expanding the activities of Legal Change, particularly in the realm of educational and leadership development. Their significant contribution came in the form of organizing our inaugural conference in the Leadership Training Series. This event, titled "I am Remarkable," was a workshop designed to empower and uplift participants by encouraging them to recognize and articulate their achievements.
Google's expertise in technology and corporate training provided a robust platform for this workshop, enabling interactive learning and widespread engagement. Their support not only facilitated a successful event but also set a high standard for subsequent activities in the series, helping to establish a strong foundation for ongoing educational initiatives within Legal Change.
Dedicated to leadership and management issues, the firm has developed around two key themes. The first is gender diversity, the all-important positive cooperation to be developed between the sexes. The second is the development of each individual's impact and potential for influence. But beyond the training courses, publications and speeches that go with them, it's a whole culture of individual and collective commitment that we seek to promote every day. Because without commitment, there can be no performance.
As one of Legal Change's first partners, we thank Alomey and Sandrine MEYFRET, its founder and director, for their support and desire to support us in our search for legal change.
